I
was born in Huddersfield, on the edge of the Pennines, in 1949 and have
been involved with the world of Art since I first learned to hold a
pencil. Over time, I have also been involved with fabric, producing
wall hangings of a particularly rich and varied nature, in glorious,
glowing silks.
Within
the last couple of years, my love of drawing and painting has led me to
concentrate on the form and colour of flowers and I delight in
exploring their possibilities in watercolour.
I also enjoy creating 'moody' landscapes these days as well, taking inspiration from the moors and skies around Slaithwaite.
